The Sacredness of Stories is dependent on an openness of mind and a purity of heart in both the teller and the listener.
As a Christian I find sacred stories in three areas: (1) Our Biblical Scripture, (2) Personal Faith Testimonies, and (3) in the cultural treasures of the folktales, myths, literature, legends, and histories of the Peoples of the World.
Stories are made sacred when spoken and heard in ritual spaces of public worship and other community gatherings. Sacred stories are always ritualized, and that is how they manifest their power as epiphanies.
